LOST CAT

My cat Velvet is lost. I didn't realize until late friday night that she was not in the house. She must have gotten out of the house through the small doggy door, wondered off and then got caught in the rain. I frantically searched all over the house for her Saturday. She has not turned up anywhere. I hope and pray she she has not gotten hurt or ate by anything. I know it is awefull for me to think this buy my cousin who lives a few miles away has lost several kittens that way. I pray my cat it just hiding out somewhere until it stops raining. It has been raining here since Thursday. When I say raining I mean non stop since Thursday night. When it finally quits raining I will start looking for her around my neighborhood.

She is such a sweet kitty! She loves to be petted and I miss her. She is only 4 years old. I have never lost a cat permanently before. The last time I lost a cat, I found her after 10 days. I pray I find Velvet as well.

America's Next Top Model

Does anyone else out there watch America's Next Top Model? I do and for the first time I did not agree with who they picked. I loved Renee and Natasha, but Jaslene?!! They kept telling Renee she looked old? What the heck? Does the lady above look old? She is 20 years old just like the other 2? I was so stunned by the outcome. Thankfully I dvr most of the episode so I can fast forward through them later but tonight was cycle 8's season finale and I didn't like the ending this year at all. This is who won

Which one looks older to you?

Oh well. I have to admit something I have not my hair cut since Dec. 1rst of 2006. I am not sure why other than I have not gone and the last two cuts I had, I dare say by 2 different people left me feeling sick to my stomach. I didn't walk out feeling happy, bubbly and beautiful like I normally do after getting my hair cut. I went to the same person for almost 7 years until he just got to big and too busy for me as a client. He was always off in Italy and it was really hard to get in to see him so for the last few years I have been desperately searching for a new hairstylist. I have an appointment to get my hair cut next saturday with a stylist my cousin uses. I pray it goes well. I need a hair cut desperatly. I'm almost embarassed to go to work with the way it looks these days. It is long and unruly. My hair is not straight and it is not curly. It is just slightly wavy and on some days I love it and other days I hate it. It is not wavy enough to wear long right after washing it because it just looks messed up. So hopefully in a week or so I will post a before and after pic. I pray it is a great cut and just not short. I like my hair long grey and all. LOL. Oh yea I forgot it is also time for a color.

More 50th Wedding Lo's

Work is getting better now than I am a "GENBANDer". Hopefully things will continue to go well at GENBAND.

Back Scrapping

I scrapped this all weekend on my scrapbooking retreat this past weekend. This is my Aunt and Uncle in Lousiana. I can't believe they have been married for over 50 years now. The priest giving them their vows is my Uncle's Nephew. The album is not complete yet. You can see more pages here

A New Company

Well after almost 7 years (One month shy to the day of being with Tekelec 7 years) of working for a company called Tekelec, I am now a GENBAND employee. It is very weird because I will work in the same building in the same office cube and for the same manager just for a different company and for a different Vice President. I now work for a privately held company instead of a public company so now there will be less rules and procedures to follow. I think this will be a great thing. My hands will not be tied so much and when I need to get something done I won't be told you can't because of Sarbanne Oxley (sp?)

My frontyard is looking great In fact is it the best looking on my little block and I am the only single person on my block. I guess the weed and feed I used a month ago really worked and worked better than whatever my neighbors have used. I used Fertilome weed and feed and I do not have any weds to pull up like all my neighbors are having to do. But I still have a back yard to get in shape. I have weeds everywhere there. So guess what i will be workign on this weekend?

Scrapping Retreat - My retreat was nearly cancelled but thankfully I will be scrapping again all next weekend! I can hardly wait. For me to go I have to get my car fixed. UGH! But I am so excited to get out of my house to scrap. So this weekend I will also be getting photos printed so I have something to scrap. Ok my battery light on my laptop is going low so I better publish now and call it a day.
